We used to call it 'Build it shit! Quick!'. But then someone called it 'Lean development' and that caught on instead. I don't know why.
Nice (11 slides!) precis by Holly Davis. The 'Lean' concept is certainly a valuable way of looking at a product development problem. Get feedback quick. Re-evaluate and go again.
It is however no replacement for initial insight. As Henry Ford never said “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.”
